A photo I took for Ziptrek Ecotours last summer is making waves…

I’m not normally one to blow my own trumpet but this recent bit of news had me so stoked I had to share it…

I was delighted to hear recently that an image I shot for Ziptrek Ecotours here in Queenstown last summer is getting some international attention online and has been picked up by many website and promotional bodies (incl Tourism NZ & Destination Queenstown) for campaigns.The image in question has popped up  on www.everythingqueenstown.co.nz (they are using it as the back drop of their home page) and was also used as the backdrop for www.stuff.co.nz for a whole day in October.
Then Tourism New Zealand requested the image to promote NZ to Australians for the month of November, culminating in this image being chosen as the image to be printed on the side of over 25 buses in Sydney & Melbourne for the month of November.
This image was also featured in a competition being run by DQ/TNZ in NZ for October on yahoo.co.nz.
It also featured in two different articles and an online banner advert featured on yahoo, metservice.co.nz etc for Destination Queenstown promoting Queenstown online to NZ & Australia during the month of October.
