Suntory Whisky and Canterbury’s infamous Nor-west arch

At the end of January I worked on a TV commercial for Suntory Whisky for Japanese Television.  We shot the commercial in the middle of a barley field near Fairlie.  It was a super-fun job to work on – good crew, amazing location (barley field), great catering & espresso coffee (always important), near my family (so I could pop in for a visit) and some of the most spectacular weather I have ever seen.

I had never seen a proper Canterbury Nor-west arch before, and boy did mother nature put on a show for us that day – it was without a doubt one of the most amazing skies/sunsets I have ever seen.  Here are a few photos from the job – I hope you get as much pleasure out of looking at them as I did taking them!
